Once they no longer have to be emissions tested delete the SAI, EGR, and the other emissions systems and you’ll have a simple, powerful turbo 4 cylinder that gets 30mpg and is very easy to make 300+hp out of. The engine itself is very strong, built with forged internals from the factory that can hold up to 500hp, many RUclipsrs and forum members confirmed.
